What happened last week?
John Kulba was called to find the Queen with $96 in the pot.  He did not find her though.  She's still hiding...till next week!
 
Announcements
Rotary Means Business Workshop will be held this Saturday August 12th.  It will be held at Lackawanna College in Scranton.  To register click here.
 
United Way Golf Tournament will be on August 20th.
 
United Way Day of Caring will be on September 14th.  Register at www.volunteermonroe.org.
 
Today at 1115 am there will bee a brief meeting on youth programs.
 
Our speaker next week is Bethany Kuster with Color for Kids.  She is a local middle schooler that has started her own non-profit to bring color to kids everywhere.  Let's all help her out by bringng in supplies she can share with kids who have none.  For the next 2 weeks, we will be collecting crayons, markers, colored pencils, sharpeners, and oany other type of art supplies.  It's time to hit up those back to school sales!!!

Program
District Governor Susan Breitlauch came for her official DG visit last week.  She has been a Rotarian for 10 years.  She spoke about membership (increase and market to potential Rotarians), MyRotary,org (SIGN UP!), recording volunteer hours with Rotary, planting a tree this year  and LOTS and LOTS of fun things planned for this year!  Be sure to read your district newsletters!
