Teaching Life Skills to tomorrow’s World changers Summer Life Skills Program

I am Teresa German, I enjoy planning, coaching and helping people reach their callings in life. I have an MSW Degree from Rutgers University School of Social Work (Concentration: Administration, Policy, & Planning). I held a Fellowship in Politics, and have a BA degree in Psychology and Minor in Fine Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

As the founder of Mentor’s R Us Inc., a 501(c)3 for at risk youth, I have had the opportunity to plan programs, motivate people, mentor/train individuals and teams in order to help them reach a collective goal. I am reliable and have been asked to be a consultant and board member on many projects. I’ve acquired a vast array of experiences that can inspire people by teaching them life skills including traveling abroad to five countries. I’ve been the recipient of numerous awards and included in newspaper articles.

I have also been very active in the Public Policy & Human Service fields throughout my work experiences. I possess over 15 years of work experience in the public and the private business sector. I have over ten years of work and volunteer experience with the child welfare system and special needs populations. For over six years, I have been a planner and coordinator for affordable housing programs, government programs, grant assessment, and special needs populations. Within these roles I had to address housing concerns, build and manage affordable housing, and collect documents and fees.  I have worked with various clientele, leaders, & agencies serving mentally ill, disadvantaged children and adults, homeless, those involved in foster care, hospitalized and variations in-between.  And finally, my most honorable qualities are honesty and compassion. Thank you in advance for listening to our presentation and helping the youth of Monroe County.
