Noon - Communities in Schools -supporting at risk students
Tim Mulligan became President/CEO of Communities InSchools of the Eastern Pa in June, 2011. CISEPA is part of the Communities In Schools Network that provides evidence based supports to more than 3200 schools and 1.8 million studentsthroughout the nation. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support empowering them stay in school and achieve in life. In the Lehigh Valley, Berks and Chester Counties, CISEPA serves 45 schools in 13 school districts reaching more than 38,000 students.
Prior to this post, Mulligan was Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Schoharie Co (NY), a human service agency specializing in domestic violence services, counseling, crime victim services and emergency/basic needs programs.
Mulligan also served as Director of campus ministry at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J. from 2007-8 and was the Executive Director of the St. Thomas More Foundation and the Catholic chaplain at Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry from 2001-2007. In 2000, Mulligan and colleagues co-founded Franciscan Northside Ministries, providing free legal and medical services for the uninsured of Syracuse, NY.
Currently residing in Breinigsville, PA, Mulligan holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, a master of divinity and a master of arts in theology from Washington Theological Union, Washington, DC.
