At the June 24, 2021 Meeting, President Cleo Jarvis presented numerous awards to acknowledge key players during her 2020-21 tenure. President Cleo led us through a tumultuous year as her whole tenure was during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Rules were constantly being changed on how to maintain safety. Stroudsburgs Rotary never missed a beat. As public places to gather were closed, Rotarian Jim Becker and others led us into the Zoom world. Whoever even heard of Zoom before the pandemic. We never missed a weekly meeting. When we couldn't meet in person, we had weekly Zoom meetings. President Cleo coordinated fellowship meetings on Zoom. Whenever we could meet in person, President Cleo and the Tech Team conducted hybrid meetings to include persons at the Sycamore Grill and Zoomers and Zoomettes. And the Community Service Team stepped up and helped wherever we could - Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, Family Promise etc. The awards recognize the many achievement for the Stroudsburgs 2020-21.
