Recap:
The first breakfast meeting was a success. We had 12 in attendance. Two members that are unable to attend lunch meetings appreciated the outreach to give them the ability to remain active in OUR club. It was nice having more input and ideas, and exciting to see more involvement. We will have another breakfast meeting on Tuesday, Sept 24 at Taste at 7:30am. This keeps us in line with Rotary's Action Plan, expanding our reach, enhancing participant engagement and increase our ability to adapt. (Picture taken before the other arrivals.)

Thursday
I heard the round table discussion on Thursday inside the Sycamore went well. I was sad to hear some members showed up but did not stay for lunch, or the discussion since it was not an official meeting. Next month both meetings will be conducted.
STROUDFEST -
Thank you all for your participation in Stroudfest. We coudn't do it without you. I arrived later than expected and heard Leslie Underhill held down the fort making balloon animals, along with Gail Kulick and Gene Prospero. Great job Juliette Caines and Chiffon Bourjolly for getting out into the crowd and sharing our upcoming events and fundraising for Pedals for Progress. Kudos to the whole team, Jeff Gilbert, Timaki Johnson, Shilkys Lopez, Deb Olsen, John Hoback, John Dennis, Bob Lear, Lee Bourjolly and children, Tricia Wingerter, Peter Andrews and Zerla Bartolome. If I missed anyone, my apologies. The weather was a little mysterious so popcorn, tea and water sales were down. We closed up earlier than expected due to the look of a heavy downpour, so our fundraising efforts fell short, however our outreach for the new service club seemed promising and many interested parties stated they will drop off their bicycle or sewing machines for the Pedals for Progress collection this Saturday. So overall we reached many people and shared what we do in Rotary, again staying in line with Rotary's strategic plan expanding our reach, educating and being visible in our community and beyond. (Zerla has pictures so they will be in the next edition.)
