Recap

Thank you to last weeks speakers, Carl & Yvonne Hassett, from Disaster Aid.

"Disaster Aid USA (DAUSA) began with one Rotary Club’s Vision to nurture Rotary’s Dream of a world absent of pain and suffering by providing humanitarian aid when Domestic and International disasters strike. DAUSA is a Rotary project, and it is open to all U. S. Rotary Districts, their clubs and their members."

"DAUSA goal is to build a significant humanitarian aid organization that provides immediate relief to those victims when disasters strike. DAUSA is not a First Responder."

Polio Wild Game Night Fundraiser

We had a wonderful night for our 1st Wild Game Night Tasting. The food was excellent, the  guests were lovely and the night was perfect. you couldn't have asked for better circumstances. There were approximately 30 Rotarians and guests that were present. We have so much appreciation for the wild game donated  by Rotarian Dave Fox and the fabulous cooking from the Smithfields Rotarians, caterer Catharina Litjens and Chef Daniel.

There were different stations set up all around the property, and everyone had a great time. DG Nominee Tim Genetti and his family were in attendance along with Rotarians Leslie Underhill, Gene Prospero, Stacy Rodriguez, John Beljean, Zerla Bartolome, Amy Leiser and hubby John, Jeff Wright, Dave Fox and Carla, Ginny, Charlie and Tom Kirkwood, Ramlah Vahanvaty and her husband Murtaza, Tricia Wingerter and Timaki Johnson.
