Recap:
Stroudfest was a success!!! It was a wonderful event run by The Sherman Theater. Rich Berkowitz, his staff and volunteers
did a fabulous job.  Thank you to all that volunteered at Stroudsburgs Rotary booth. It was great visibility for Rotary and our
inflatable was eye catching.  The attendees were able to learn a little about Rotary and enjoy a snow cone and popcorn. 
They were very generous with their donations and our total count collected was $711 in donations.

United Way Day Of Caring - Thank you to the Rotarians that were able to volunteer with Pocono Mountains United Way.  Leslie and Stacy Rodriguez volunteered for Sights for Hope, and went shopping at the Crossing with a couple with impaired vision.  Also in attendance seen at the Kickoff breakfast was Past President Don Hannig, Jannell Henderson and Ed Schafer.
 
Membership Committee: Rotarians helping Rotarians. If you have a chore that you need help with please contact Kate, Leslie or Stacy.
 
Community Service Committee: We would like to keep collecting books for the little free libraries. Contact Leslie or Trudie
 
PROJECT HEALING WATERS
Wednesday, Sept 14 -
Location at Ray Starner's property on McMichaels Creek is secured
Tables and chairs by Shawnee Inn are on order
Gotta Go Potties on order
Hamburgers and hotdogs are secured. Thanks to Jo's Food Pantry and St. John's Church & Stroudsburgs Wesleyan Church
Wounded Veterans, Volunteers from Project Healing Waters and Trout Unlimited will be there. We may have a special guest arrive.
Creek levels should be back to normal by Saturday
To bring: Coolers, Tents, table, lawn chairs, Water/ Ice Tea/ Lemonade jugs 
 
NEEDED for Project Healing Waters: More Volunteers, Grill, SIDE DISHES, desserts, and Good Weather Conditions
