Let's bring the MAGIC of Rotary to our neighbors in Stroudsburg!
Invite a friend, a family member, a business owner, or a stranger to have lunch with you? We look forward to meeting them.
Rotary Experience:
It was a wonderful experience at the Multi-District Conference in Hershey. Getting involved in responsibilities makes the meaning of Rotary so much greater. PDG Carol Hemphill asked if I could help at the registration desk if needed but more importantly be a Sgt At Arms with other Rotarians within the other Districts. We were directing Rotarians to the various rooms however we all had a fun time, joking around and learning about each other and our respective clubs.
Zerla, Kin & myself visited the Hershey Museum together and learned all about what a wonderful person Milton Hershey was. His focus was on creating the best chocolate bar, however chocolate wasn’t his only focus. Milton’s focus was on building a model community, “ from electricity and sewage , to schools, parks, zoos & cultural resources rare in rural areas. Milton built an orphanage , a school for low income families along with affordable housing. The community became family to him. He believed happy workers were efficient workers.
“One is only happy in proportion as he makes others feel happy and only useful as he contributes his influences for the finer callings in life.” ~ Milton Hershey
Yours always in Service,
Stacy Rodriguez

Learning these tools as children and appreciating mindfulness helps with controlling stress levels, understand their responsibility towards the planet, cultivate creativity and learn balance in life. thespark.nyc
