Recap Dec 19, 2025
Recap -

Dec 19 we had a great Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa Party, with Paul Harris Awards, Satellite's 10yr Anniversary, an ugly Christmas sweater contest, white elephant gift exchange  & a birthday song for Pres. Stacy.
Don Hannig did a great job presenting all of the Paul Harris awards and updating the Paul Harris Banner with the new levels for our Rotarians.
Congratulations to all the Paul Harris recipients:
1st Paul Harris - Cheryl Cloke
Paul Harris +1 - John Beljea, Amy Leiser, Gene Prospero & Phyllis Gibson
Paul Harris +2 - Tricia Wingerter & Peter Andrews
Paul Harris +2 & Paul Harris +3 - Pres. Stacy Rodriguez
Paul Harris +3 - Don Hannig & Ted Butz
Paul Harris +5 Frank Herting and Dave Fox
There are others that were not in attendance and will be mentioned at another time.

A big thanks to Joan Molloy and Don Hannig for running the white elephant, and District Governor Bill Skinner for the invocation. A great job by Marita's Soouthwestern Bar & Grill for catering the event, owner Ian Shreier and staff.

It was nice to see participants in the Ugly sweater contest. Our winner was Jen Schnaitman.

Rotarians Leslie Underhill and Gene Prospero volunteered at Valor packing and then delivering the meal packages to local Veteran's. 530 turkeys and all the trimmings were packed and delivered.
Thank you so much for your service.

The Bob Wehe Red Cross Blood Drive went well. Thank you  Chair Tanya Morales & President Elect Ed Schaefer & Pres. Stacy for manning the snack table and sharing Rotary with the donors.  Over 32 people signed up, there were some no shows and a few walk ins.  A few people got deferred, and the power red machine was acting out. Overall the collection was at 22. Slightly under their goal of 23.  Look who popped in, former Stroudsburgs Rotarian and CEO of the Red Cross Michele (Baehr) Clark.  If you see Zerla ask her to tell you her story. Thank you to the Rotarians that were able to donate blood.
