Recap Lunch and Evening:
Thank you Scott Fabian, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity for sharing with us about what you do and how you assist the community. We look forward to working with them in the future.  The ReStore is being worked on in Marshalls Creek. Any help to assist them in setting up shelving is appreciated.  Give the office a call at (570) 216-4390 and speak to Kenneth Hatt, Monroe County Habitat Volunteer Coordinator, or email us at Volunteer@HabitatMC.com, to see how you can help make a difference.

About Habitat For Humanity - Putting Love Into Action

"Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Monroe County Habitat for Humanity’s main focus for 2024 is Home Preservation. This program allows homeowners who are affected by low income, old age or disability to make necessary repairs on their homes. When these critical repairs are not made, homes can potentially become condemned. There is a great need for these types of repairs in our county." (Excerpt from the website. Great Rotary Fellowship at Underdog Cyber Defense

Lunch and evening members got together last Thursday for a potluck fellowship. It was great seeing faces we haven't seen in a while and lunch and evening members bonding.

Rotarian and Golf sponsor Carmine Corridore hosted us at his place of business in Marshalls Creek. A great midway point for our members to gather.  We had 6 guests join us, Carmine's wife Kelly, two friend's of Stacy: Vickie Kovar and Renee Hojknowski, and 2 Underdog employees, Carlos Ribera and Oscar Juarez, Ramlah's husband, Murtaza Vahanvaty, along with our Assistant Governor Mitchell Marcus and our speaker Scott Fabian. We all caught up and learned more about each other. Everyone brought a dish and there was a great cultural variety. We had Philippine noodles, Italian sausage and peppers, chili and rice, salad, Chinese food, pizza, chicken, desserts, drinks...  More than we can eat and members got to take food home with them. Thank you to everyone that came out and brought a dish, and a special thank you to Snydersville Diner for providing a huge tray of rice pudding.  A huge THANK YOU to Carmine and Underdog Cyber Defense for hosting us.
