Recap:
Monroe County Commissioner David Parker is representing the county on the America250PA county advisory committee, and formed a committee to help the community commemorate this significant occasion.  Some of what he shared with Rotarians today included:

  • the PA trivia quiz – take the quiz here
  • Liberty trees are being planted in all 67 PA counties.  Monroe’s is at Brinker’s Mill (now Old Mill), 5818 Hamilton Road East, Stroudsburg
  • Bells across PA – 3-foot fiberglass bell at Monroe County Historical Association, opening next month.
  • Historical Marker Passport – visit Historical Markers in Monroe County and scan a QR code at each Market to ‘stamp’ your passport.  Opportunity to win prizes, as Leslie Underhill did for knowing PA trivia regarding the Brodheads.  Sign up here
