Let's bring the MAGIC of Rotary to our neighbors in Stroudsburg!
Invite a friend, a family member, a business owner, or a stranger to have lunch with you? We look forward to meeting them.
Rotary Involvement:
My involvement in Rotary shows me the importance of human connection. We are so involved in a world full of screens, whether it be a cell phone, a computer or the TV, that we forget about the importance of getting together with family, friends, strangers at different events or going out and enjoying nature.
When people get together, we learn about each other, we enjoy times with each other, we meet new people that we may never have come across. We hear stories and learn new things, and our life experiences grow. It is very easy for me to stay home however, I do my best to break out of the norm and expand out of my comfort zone, to attend different Rotary events and community events. Whether I go by myself or with friends I always learn or experience something new.
April is environmental month. Let's get together for a walk outdoors or a picnic by the stream. Enjoy the sights of the Earth through the colorful crocuses, daffodils, see life coming back to us this Spring, with trees budding; listen to the birds and the rush of the water; smell the earth and the scent of the flowers; and see the beauty of our wildlife roaming our neighborhoods.
Let's enjoy & protect the life that was created for us.
Always in Service,
Stacy Rodriguez
Stroudsburgs Rotary President 2024-25
