"Disease results in misery, pain, and poverty for millions of people worldwide. That’s why treating and preventing disease is so important to us. We lead efforts both large and small. We set up temporary clinics, blood donation centers, and training facilities in underserved communities struggling with outbreaks and health care access. We design and build infrastructure that allows doctors, patients, and governments to work together." ~ Rotary International

Recap Nov 20, 2025
Recap-

Thank you to our speaker two weeks ago, Trent Turner, Area Director of Monroe County from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Per the website:
"The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives…one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel."

Rotarians In Service

Thank you to all Rotarians that volunteered for the Thanksgiving Valor Packing & Distribution, Leslie Underhill, Gene Prospero, Russell Little & Tiffany Lyons, Dave Yarosh, Grace D'Amico and Lance Godfrey.  Tiffany & Russell finished their third day with VALOR, assembling meal boxes for Thanksgiving.  She believes they are providing approximately 650 meals for Veterans throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. Each box was worth $175.00-200.00 and included a full days' worth of meals including turkey, potatoes, stuffing, cake mix, icing, cranberry sauce, eggs, milk, butter to name a few of the contents. It’s amazing what a bunch of like-minded strangers, coming together for the common good, can accomplish!!

Eagle Scout Code of Honor
Dave Yarosh presented Jacob Franzo with a certificate and pen set for his wonderful achievement of earning his Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout rank represents leadership, dedication, hard work and service, living by the values of the Scouts.
