How Rotary helps Maternal & Child Health

"Rotary provides education, immunizations, birth kits, and mobile health clinics. Women are taught how to prevent mother-to-infant HIV transmission, how to breast-feed, and how to protect themselves and their children from disease."

Pocono Mountain United Way $2,000 Grant Recipient has 2 BACKPACY GIVEAWAY OPPORTUNITITIES in the Strousburgs
Please consider an hour or two with this Service Project and Volunteer with handing out the backpacks that Stroudsburgs Rotary was instrumental in making happen.

1) Valor Stand Down at Dansbury Park - 2nd Sunday of every month.  Greatest time to help is unloading (9:30am) and loading (12:25pm)
 
2) Little Free Libraries - bring any unwanted books especially children's books.

Annual fundraising event for the Susquehanna County Library Association.  New Milford Area Rotary Club will operate a food tent each day for lunch and afternoon food customers. This event includes numerous vendors and entertainment for kids and families. A variety of blueberry cuisine will be available for the discerning palate. The library also conducts a huge used book sale during this two-day event as part of this fundraiser- its major such effort each year. 
 
 
RLI-NEA Rotary Leadership Institute of Northeast America

District Grant Committee has announced that Rotary International has accepted the District's grant proposals.  Checks will be issued shortly.
 
Global Grant Application from District 7410
Congratulations! Your global grant application for funding to provide a scholarship to Francesca Nyakora to pursue a Masters in Development Studies at University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England, submitted by the Rotary Club of Ipswich Orwell and District 7410, has been approved by The Rotary Foundation. The award is in the amount of US$ 54,000.

Rotary's International Presidency 2025-26 is now Francesco Arezzo of the Rotary Club of Raguso, Italy.
