Rotary Monthly Focus
December is Disease and Prevention Month

From Rotary Int'l
"Disease results in misery, pain, and poverty for millions of people worldwide. That’s why treating and preventing disease is so important to us."

How Rotary makes this happen: "We educate and equip communities to stop the spread of life-threatening diseases. Rotary members have hundreds of health projects underway around the world at any given time."

"With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world."

Last week Senator Rosemary Brown talked with us. She spoke about how a divided government can be a functioning government and also about the Route 80 project.  The distracted driving bill finally passed after 12 years of working with both sides.  Senator Brown said you have a lot of give and take to finally get a finished project.
