Stories
Mady's Kitchen Service Project
Thank you Debbie Kulick for chairing Mady's Community Dinner. It was a huge success. We had Shepherd's pie, corn bread, salad and desserts, everything was delicious. We serviced about 94 community members and volunteers.  There was extra for the community to take home so they could have another meal.  We brought some over to John Kulba, who is in good spirits and getting stronger everyday.
Thank you to our volunteers,  Juliette Caines, Leslie Underhill, Gene Prospero, Debbie & Gail Kulick, Zerla Bartolome and Stacy Rodriguez. If anyone was left out, my apologies.

Weekly recap Oct 26, 2023

Thank you Maria Candelaria and Ed Kmetz for sharing their vocation and personal journey.

Thank you Leslie for your continued efforts to form committees. We had some sign ups but no new members joining different committtees.

Welcome our new Intern Sherwin Stewart!!!
We have partnered with ESU and have a Social Media student, Sherwin Stewart. He loves
photography, is young, and wants to learn as much as he can to be successful. He needs help
from us with stories about what we do.
I’m asking you to help by creating stories for him about
us. Send them to Leslie or Stacy or Sherwin at Sherster14@gmail.com. Please help make this
cooperative agreement successful for both of us.

Giving to Rotary Foundation

Foundation history

At the 1917 convention, outgoing Rotary president Arch Klumph proposed setting up an endowment “for the purpose of doing good in the world.” That one idea, and an initial contribution of $26.50, set in motion a powerful force that has transformed millions of lives around the globe.

Thank you to all of our Rotarians for your annual donations on your birthday to Rotary International and Stroudsburgs Rotary Foundation, which helps with international and local projects.  Let's keep up the good work in making the world a better place. Thank you to our online sustaining members, sometimes we forget to acknowledge your contributions.

District Update

Per Dave Palmer: "Up Date on the Global Grant we are involved in.  The production line for the manufacture of the water purifiers is in action as we speak"

After the availability of all funds,  we have been finally able to formally proceed with the purchase of the 7 water purifiers. Its executive project is now almost completed and - right after - the production of the equipments will start.
As per the original estimation, in 10 weeks all of the equipments should be ready to be shipped to Warsaw first and then to their final destination of Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine, where we expect them to improve the quality of life of many suffering people.
We keep working with tenacity and determination to achieve our goal!
We’ll keep you informed of the next main developments of the project; thanks again for supporting it and all the best

Riccardo Di Bari
Past President RC Milano Nord
Project leader Pure water for Ukraine
