Special thanks to Rotarians Jim Becker and John Beljean. We had a popup request from United Way to pick up 5 bikes from Camelback Resort and take them to Women's Resources. Rotarians respond to community!
Debbie Harrison, Administrator and Job Training Director for CareerLink, presented a discussion on their current initiatives. Although they serve all age groups, Debbie focused on their youth initiatives. Despite the fact that the facility was closed to the public during pandemic closure, Debbie and her staff ensured 53 youth were engaged in on-the-job training opportunities. Career Ready campaign prepares youth for opportunities. Areas of focus for youth training are medical, hospitality, logistics and transportation. They recently partnered with the Vacation Bureau in a tri-county job fair. For more information visit https://monroecountycareerlink.org/
