Since Rotary's founding purpose is for people from different backgrounds to exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships,Rotary clubs are a natural antidote for loneliness.
They offer connections plus closer engagement with the wider community. Researchers suggest that the quality of relationships, not the quantity, matters most.
Rotary provides a sense of purpose and meaning, accompanied by the personal payback of greater self-worth.
Thank you Frank Herting for sharing your experience with Pele, the soccer legend with us.

RI President-Elect Announces 2023-24 Presidential Theme
Rotary International President-elect R. Gordon R. McInally called for members to capture the world's attention and lead the way toward possibilities far beyond our current expectations.
"McInally, a member of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry, West Lothian, Scotland, revealed the 2023-24presidential theme, Create Hope in the World...
He urged members to promote peace in troubled nations, help those affected by conflict, and maintain the momentum of initiatives begun by past leaders."
"The goal is to restore hope — to help theworld heal from destructive conflicts and, in turn, to help us achieve lasting change for ourselves," McInally said at Rotary's annual training event for incoming district governors.
TJ Price - we appreciate you, especially as a new member. You have jumped in full force when you took the lead for our Pints & Pino for Polio fundraiser this past October and did a great job. We appreciate you consistently attending meetings, being involved and joining different committees.
