The Pints and Pinots for Polio Pub Crawl on October 24, 2021 was extremely successful. Many of the Stroudsburg Rotarians came out to do their part to eradicate polio. A very special thank you to Derailed Taphouse, Trackside Bar and Grill, Sycamore Grill, The Lounge, Shawnee Inn River Room, Marita's Cantina, Tolino's Winery, Philly's Pub, and Willowtree Inn for participating in our fundraiser. At least 10% of sales from beer and wine will be donated to help eradicate polio. Thank you to these local restauranteurs for helping us meet our vision of eradicating polio worldwide.

Rotarians Dave Fox, Pete Andrews, John Beljean, Kate Jendral, Ashe Prawl and his girlfriend Rose, Zerla Bartolome, Gene Prospero, Dave and Ann Super joined forces to participate in the semi-annual Roadside Cleanup on October 16, 2021. This is a longtime partnership with PenDot. Many hands were needed to make this a successful effort and there will be another opportunity in the Spring. Gene Prospero is the Lead for this important initiative. Stay tuned for more information later!

Alexandra Evans, Trauma Program Manager, gave a very informative presentation on Trauma Services at Lehigh Valley Pocono. She talked about the various services a Trauma Center offers and the processes involved in determining level of care. Pocono is a Level III center that provides specialized services and resources 24/7. Accreditation occurs every 3 years and its important to the community that Pocono maintains its Level III. This is a very important medical resource in the community.
