This Thursday - Let's help celebrate our Rotarians that have hit some milestone Years of Service this week.

Membership Committee met Monday night - we discussed corporate memberships and member involvement. Dues are due before June 30. Due to rising costs they have increased a little to $200. We could invoice you twice a year ($100 due June 30th and Dec 30th) instead of once.  If you think you are not rejoining let us know before June 30th because we are billed by Rotary International and we will need to bill you.

No lunch or evening meetings on June 23.

International convention was a wonderful experience. If you've never been to one it would be wonderful to attend. We are back and in full swing again. (We did attend the community meeting from Houston and zoomed in to the lunch meeting from the plane going to Houston and coming home from our limousine service. We are diehards.) Thank you again Peter Andrews for picking us up and dropping us off).

Recap:
This past week our program was Meals on Wheels and we heard from Linda Raudabaugh, Volunteer Coordinator and Stacey Koeck, Special Events Coordinator. It is their 50th Anniversary. No one is too young to receive meals as long as you are over 18 and are able to cook for yourself.
Meals are no longer prepared at Burnley they are made at MOW in Scranton. They hope it could return to our local area.
63% of meals are paid from MC Area of Aging. Meals are not financed through the Federal Govt.
That's why fundraising is important. Some clients pay for their own meals.
Volunteers are always welcome & needed. No commitment necessary. MC Routes take 1-2 hours to complete.

Be My Guest is still up and running. Violette brought a guest at the evening meeting. Debbie's two guests returned again. Let's keep it going and share our wonderful friendships.

Incentive prizes - $100 gift certificate, a bottle of Spirits, Golf gift certificate, and more...
We will have 3 top prizes and all participants will be entered for the chance to win a Paul Harris Fellow.
