A note from the Spaghetti Dinner Committee: Chair Cleo Jarvis has already started signing volunteers up for this event! Please be sure to sign up to make meatballs the night before or to help serve our wonderful community. Tickets will be given out soon. The event will held on May 18th from 2pm-7pm at Stroudsburg High School. Business Card Ads on the Spaghetti Dinner Place-mat went on sale after it was announced at the weekly meeting last Thursday. Ads spaces will only be reserved with payment. Artwork will be accepted until April 30th. We are accepting ads in order until the place-mat is sold out. (Which happens quickly so please do not delay.) This year the Spaghetti Dinner will occur in conjunction with the Run for the Red Registration at the Stroudsburg High School on May 18. Since this will be 3 days before the Primary Election and there will be especially high visibility. The following rates apply per space: - Stroudsburgs Rotarians-$50
- All others including Stroudsburg Rotarian Political Candidates-$60
- Political Ads-$70

Pamela Hubbard had spoken to our club about creating an English Garden in the Poconos. From her blog, Pam's English Cottage Garden, "I long for my Grandmother's garden in England that I remember as a child. I am trying to create something similar in the Pocono Mountains. My husband has lived in this house, Astolat Farm, all of his life. There are 24+ acres and 8- of them are farmed. The house (circa 1850) is on approximately three acres that are gardens, potential gardens, and pastures for my miniature horse and pigmy goat. The rest is wooded".
