Recap April 30, 2026
RECAP
Joe Akob, Executive Director ESU, is responsible for developing and implementing strategic directions for the ESU Student Activity Association, Inc.  Joe discussed the importance of students being fully engaged inside and outside of the classroom with activities providing real world experiences that complement their studies through socialization, team building, service, leadership and more.  ESU enrollment is increasing due to solid academic programs aligned with career pathways, e.g., Sports Management and Nursing, and engagement is high with over 100 student organizations.  Rotary can help as student groups are looking for service hours!

Congratulations Rotarian Amy Leiser, Executive Director of the Monroe County Historical Association,  The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was well attended. An exciting time to see history expanding in Stroudsburg.  Thank you to all Rotarians that attended and those that are members or volunters of the Historical Association.

International

Learn how Rotary clubs are taking action in the United States, Costa Rica, Italy, Tunisia, and Australia.

Far from the vaccination front lines, the fight to end the disease begins in everyday spaces, from a neighborhood pub to a commuter train to a tulip field. At the center of it all, no surprise, are enterprising Rotary members just like you

Members in the 16 World Cup host cities in North America plan events to showcase Rotary and foster international understanding
