Leslie Underhill
On Thursday, September 23, Jim Becker bestowed Rotarian Leslie Underhill Paul Harris +4 recognition at the evening meeting. We are very proud of Leslie as she continues to honor the Rotary International legacy of global service. Thanks Leslie for continuing to make the good work of Rotary happen around the world!

Picnic
A special thank you to PDG Karen DeMatteo for hosting our annual picnic. Inclement weather during the week made it impossible to have the picnic at Rotarian Ray Starner's property. Karen willingly stepped up and offered her home for the picnic location. Thank you Karen for your generous hospitality. Check out our Facebook page to enjoy pictures. Looks like a good time was had by all.
Reverse Raffle
Our biggest fundraiser, The Reverse Raffle, will once again be held at the Armory, 271 Washington St, East Stroudsburg, PA. 200 tickets will be available. The top three cash prizes are $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000. To make the event more interesting, smaller prizes are also needed. If you are willing to donate, please see Don Hannig for items such as gift certificates or items from local stores, businesses or restaurants.  These prizes make for a more interesting event as who doesn't like to win something? Please help make this a successful event by purchasing tickets, donating or coordinating with a local business or restaurant to make a donation. The raffle will be held November 7, 2021. More information will be available as we get closer.
Roadside Cleanup
On Saturday 9/25, bright and early, Stroudsburgs Rotary reported for duty for the annual fall roadside cleanup. They
met in the parking lot behind First Keystone Bank, 559 Main St, Stroudsburg and proceeded to clean up Stroudsburg's downtown.
Rotarian Gene Prospero spearheaded this event. Rotarians Dave Fox, John Beljean, Peter Andrews, Jim Becker, Don Hannig were joined by 6
Interact members from Stroudsburg High School along with a parent and their advisor Moira Loughman. This roadside cleanup was a partnership
with Pocono Visitors Bureau (Pick up the Poconos). The next opportunity will be with PenDot on 10/16/2021 at our usual West Main Street location.
Stay tuned for more information later!
Eagle Scouts
President Don Hannig requested support for members to represent Stroudsburgs Rotary at any upcoming Court of Honor presentation for Eagle Scouts in our area. Rotarian Clarence "Murph" Murphy faithfully represented Stroudsburgs Rotary for over 25 years. Now they're requesting others to share in this experience. Let President Don or Rotarian Ed Schaefer know if you are willing to represent Stroudsburgs Rotary at this most important milestone event for Scouts who worked so diligently.
Lunch meeting at Sycamore Grill, 92 Main St, Delaware Water Gap at 1145.
