We had a surprise guest last week. District Governor Elect Tim Genetti attended and was given the honor of inducting our newest member Dinoli Rowlands. Dinoli is Vice President and Relaion strategist with PNC Private Bank. Dinoli has been with PNC Bank for over 10 years with various roles.  Dinoli graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management from Widner University and a Masters of BUsiness Administration from Kean University.  We look forward to her participation in our club.
 
 
 
Dinoli was our guest speaker last week and after her induction she shared with us about identity theft. Thank you Dinoli for sharing and joining our Rotary. To view her presentation click link
 
 
MONROTARY Changes
There are plans to change the weekly bulletin to a monthly bulletin, with a weekly reminder of the meeting.

COMMUNITY NIGHT AT NCC
 
President Stacy & Membership chair Leslie Underhill attended the community to give Rotary more visibility in the community. It was a stormy night however the community did attend.
 
 
 
Condolences
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jim & Margie Becker along with their extended family on the passing of Jim's mother Stella Becker on May 5, 2025.  Our prayers are with you.
Monday, May 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00PM viewing at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg.
Tuesday, May 13th, additional viewing at 10:00am at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Main St., Stroudsburg and be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Rev. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Burial will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church.
 
 
Robert Rossick passed Mar 27, 2025. He was a long-time member of our club.  Robert Rossick's obituary  Prayers to his family.

GOLF COMMITTEE UPDATE:
The golf committee met on Tuesday.  We are looking forward to all our returning golf foursomes.  Gift Certificates, gift baskets, and Tee-sponsors have started coming in.
Please contact Danica Hartenfels if you have a Tee sponsor or want to be a Tee-sponsor.  Contact TJ Price if you have any gift cards or raffle gifts.  Don Hannig receives all registration and sponsorship money.We are expecting a beautiful Wednesday for our fundraiser!
 
 
MAY 7- NEPA Youth Infusion Youth Led Leadership Conference -Presentation of the District Essay Award of $1,000 to Stroudsburgs Essay contest winner Leyla.

May 17 - CLIMB participation to help the American Cancer Society. Please let us know if you will attend.

Thursday June 12, Tentative Spring Fling Date at 5:30pm at Peppe's Latin Bistro or TBA- total renovation - it looks beautiful
 
 
RYLA 2025 will be held Sunday, 6/15 - 6/19 at Keystone College in LaPlume, PA. We will be sending 3 students to RYLA this year.
RYLA provides leadership training to area youth.

1) Valor Stand Down at Dansbury Park - 2nd Sunday of every month.  Greatest time to help is unloading (9:30am) and loading (12:25pm)
 
2) Little Free Libraries - bring any unwanted books especially children's books.
