DG Tim Genetti official visit with wife Michelle, where he challenged our club to induct another 6 members, and really think about and share why we are Rotarians.

  

 

In the Evening - Rotarian Jim & Margie Becker shared their experience at Rotary's International Conference in Calgary and spoke about the importance of donating to Rotary International Foundation.

With the help of past Pres Stacy Rodriguez, long time Rotarian Jim Becker gifted a Paul Harris Award to his long time friend and one of our newest members Mike Uklenowich.  It was an emotional moment for Mike and a proud moment for Jim Becker seeing his longtime friend finally becoming a Rotarian and the importance of sharing this special Paul Harris Award with him.

 

 

Rotarian Leslie Underhill shared a fabulous recap of her father's WWII Special Forces operations in Italy & France.

  

 

We appreciate all the Rotarians that volunteered at the Backpack Giveaway on Aug 16 & Aug 23, hosted by Faith International Church and Christ Episcopal Church, respectively.

Thank you Rotarians; Zerla Bartolome, Carmine Corridore, Past Pres Stacy Rodriguez, newest Rotarians, Russell Little, Tiffany Lyons and Mike Uklenowich.

The children appreciated receiving their new backpacks and supplies, snacks, books and we even balloon twisted while we were there.

            

 

We had a very happy Sweet 16 birthday girl on Sat Aug 16 and appreciated the Rotarians that shared her special day with her.

 

Congratulations Rotarian Kirby Upright, Estate Law Chair Emeritus on being recognized as one of the best lawyers in the 32nd edition of Best Lawyers in America, along with the founding partner Donald Spry and Managing Partner, Jessica F. 1) Valor Stand Down at Dansbury Park - 2nd Sunday of every month.  Greatest time to help is unloading (9:30am) and loading (12:25pm)

 

2) Little Free Libraries - bring any unwanted books especially children's books.
