Last meeting went well with our move to Marita’s. We had a nice turnout of 27 Rotarians and guests. A big thank you to John Dennis for transferring most, if not all of our equipment from Sycamore Grille to Marita’s. Thank you to all hands on deck that helped him transport it from his truck to & from the venue.
 
 
There are a few kinks to be worked out, however, overall I received positive feedback. Please share your thoughts otherwise change can’t be made.
 
**Check-in will be at the entrance of Marita’s.
 
We will get our microphone working for this week. 

Lunch menu:  chicken franchise with white rice, mixed vegetables and Cesar salad. Vegetarian option available upon request, & a hamburger is always an option. 

Thank you to our speaker & Rotarian Timaki Johnson for sharing Family Promise with us, I’m sorry I missed it.

District Conference - Focus on Peace Building - April 4-6
Hershey Park
 
RYLA 2025 will be held Sunday, June 15th through Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at Keystone College in LaPlume, PA.
For budgeting purposes, the cost per student is $375.00, which is an incredible value for all this 5-day/4-night program offers. The clubs sponsor the students.
RYLA provides leadership training to area young people. The schedule is full of activities that engage students physically, mentally, and emotionally to strengthen their relationship skills, build their self-confidence, and give them the tools they need to be leaders.

Donations for the LA wildfire victims  will be sent to one of the two districts in the Los Angeles area, who took charge of this need
Community Events

1) Valor Stand Down at Dansbury Park - 2nd Sunday of every month.  Greatest time to help is unloading (9:30am) and loading (12:25pm)
 
2) Little Free Libraries - bring any unwanted books especially children's books.

There are upcoming classes but none on Zoom or in the area.
