Bio: Joseph A. Akob

Joseph A. Akob serves as the Executive Director of the Student Activity Association (SAA) at East Stroudsburg University (ESU), where he provides leadership and strategic direction for a wide portfolio of student‑focused programs and services. In this role, he oversees operations including the university bookstore, recreation center, card services, student governance, student clubs and organizations, Stony Acres outdoor facility, and a range of campus engagement initiatives. Akob joined ESU in 2003 as Director of the Recreation Center and has since become a key figure in enhancing campus life, wellness, and student engagement.
