Shayna Canty - National Service Influencer

Meet Shayna! She served as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer In Service To America) during COVID-19. She is a three-time appointed Commissioner for two Pennsylvania state boards. She represents Northeastern Pennsylvania as a national consultant for Made By Us; a nonprofit dedicated to platforming the voices of 18 to 30 year olds (Gen Z/Gen Alpha) during America's 250th birthday and beyond. She works full time as a Communications Coordinator for Monroe County Meals on Wheels. In her free time, you can find her watching Jimmy Stewart films, filling her nonprofit's first community fridge in the West End or speaking to representatives about her national service experience.
