Our very own club member and this years District Governor Karen DeMatteo gave her official DG visit to our club last week. She spoke of RI President Mark Maloney's message of Growing Rotary: bringing in more members and growing the impact we make in our communities. WE are the foundation as we give of our time, talent and treasure. We are all different and bring something different to the table. DG Karen spoke about the resources available to us and to register with Rotary.org, look into the People of Action campaign and how she has an upcoming trip to India. This year her focus is bringing polio back into the light and spreading awareness that polio has not been eradicated.
