Stroudsburgs Rotary Club Celebrates 100 Years

Beginning in July of 2021, the Stroudsburgs Rotary will begin the celebration of its 100th Anniversary. Throughout the year, there will be a monthly event to give back to the community through “100 Acts of Kindness”. This underscores the organization's 100 Years of Community Service.

The July kickoff will be to partner with Pocono Mountains United Way (PMUW) on their "Back 2 School Supply Drive 2021". The Club is asking for donations of the following items:
  • Pencil Cap Erasers
  • 5 Subject Spiral Notebooks
  • 2 Pack Composition Notebooks
  • Pocket Folders
  • Glue Sticks
Donors can bring items to either of the two meetings. There are two collection points set up in the community. One will be at the First Keystone Bank, 559 Main St, Stroudsburg. The second is at Jimmy's Ice Cream at 75 Crystal Street, East Stroudsburg. Rotary will then give PMUW the supplies to add to the backpacks of 500 children in the community. The goal is to collect at least 100 of each item to help PMUW attain their objective.
