Farrah Scaeffer, Board member at Valor, shared her deep connection to veterans: her Dad was a triple amputee from the Vietnam war and her son currently serves. Valor offers non-medical veterans' support, including outreach, shelter support, food assistance, benefits navigation, peer support, and referrals to licensed VA and community providers when clinical care is needed. Over 2,000 meals are provided to Veterans each year for Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas. There are a number of ways to support Valor, two of which are listed below in events. Their biggest fund raiser is the Patriot's Ball. Please contact Mike Raub if you are interested in attending and forming a table. Purchase a ticket, donate, sponsor, volunteer, spread the word!
