Recap: Thank you Fr, Brian Clarke from St. Mathews Church for sharing with us at last weeks meeting and appreciating all that Rotary does in the community and worldwide. A great time was had by all that attended the Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs Annual Picnic. Great food, conversation and even better company. Thank you, Dave Fox, for hosting & cooking for us again this year. It is always such a pleasure. We appreciate Carla's help throughout the day too. Thank you to everyone that attended, brought side dishes, and for those that helped set up and cleanup afterwards. It was great to see everyone at the BBQ and special appearance by Dick & Carole Ludwig & visiting Rotarians Jim & Margie Becker. (Ramlah and her family were scheduled to attend also but the photographer left early and didn't get any updates) Rotarians in Action - Rotarians are always stepping up and helping in the community. Stroudsburg Wesleyan Food Pantry appreciated help on Aug 7. It was a downpour, we lost tents, everything was drenched, but after the thunder & lightning stopped, we got through it. They have so much appreciation to being introduced to Valor through our Rotary club. Brings back memories of Stroudsburgs Rotary Fly-Fishing BBQ for our disabled Veterans.
