Rotary Turns 118
How old is Rotary this year? 118 years old

"Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary's reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service."
Rotary has changed over the years and as they say, it's not an "old man's club" anymore. Rotary has opened it's doors to include all genders, all races, religions, profession or no profession, all walks of life....

The Rotary theme for March- Water, Sanitation & Hygiene - asks us to focus on the life changing improvements that we can make through these international projects to provide a more readily available and healthy supply of water to all people.
Fellowship and District Fundraiser
A few of us from Stroudsburgs Rotary had some fellowship at the Penguins Hockey Annual District 7410 Fundraiser.  Approx. $1400 was raised to support the continued service to Ukrainian refugees in Poland and displaced persons in the Ukraine.  We appreciate all the efforts of those involved and donations received. A big thank you AG Dave Palmer for organizing this and to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Troop 86
A night out with Troop 86. President Dave Yarosh, our Charter Organization Representative, gave a  speech about Rotary, and how both organizations intertwine with community service.
Grant applications
Grant applications have been emailed. Please reach out to local non profits that could use a grant. Our donations raised from the reverse raffle will help make their situations a little bit better.
