Melissa Healy  

President, The CHEMO Bag Inc.  With over 22 years of experience in the financial services sector at PNC N.A., Melissa Healy currently holds the position of Assistant Vice President and Client Service Advisor for PNC Private Bank. Previously, she excelled as a Branch Manager for 14 years. Melissa is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to her clients and her Private Bank team while actively contributing to her community. She has served on the board of The CHEMO Bag Inc. for more than 11 years, initially as Secretary and currently as President, where she is instrumental in expanding the organization’s reach from the Lehigh Valley to 24 infusion centers throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. Her personal experiences, including the loss of her mother to cancer and the challenges faced by family members battling the disease, have profoundly fueled her passion for the organization and its mission. This commitment drives her efforts to ensure that the “Bag of Hope” comfort bags are delivered to as many chemotherapy patients as possible. Beyond her professional commitments at PNC Bank and The CHEMO Bag, Melissa enjoys golfing and cherishing quality time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.

Speaker #1: Scott Peckins - CEO, Pocono Family YMCA
Bio: Scott Peckins has more than 25 years of YMCA leadership experience across both domestic and international settings. His background includes managing large-scale recreation operations such as fitness centers, childcare programs, cultural facilities, environmental properties, and specialized services including beach patrols, libraries, a golf course, an outdoor conference center, and a 55-room accommodation facility at the Dublin YMCA, Ireland. He also has 17 years of experience overseeing YMCA camps. Throughout his career, he has successfully led YMCA’s through financial turnarounds, and the Pocono Family YMCA he helped secure $21 million for new construction and facility renovations.
Speaker #2: Alivea (uh-liv-e-uh) Vento - Administrative Assistant, Pocono Family YMCA
Bio: Alivea Vento is a recent addition to the Pocono Family YMCA team, where she supports administrative operations and communications efforts. A lifelong resident of the Pocono region, she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Marketing and Communications from East Stroudsburg University. Alivea is passionate about contributing to the YMCA’s capital campaign and is excited to be part of a project that will have a lasting, positive impact on the local community.

Pocono Mountains United Way Update

Michael Tukeva is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pocono Mountains United Way, where he leads the organization’s mission to improve health, education, and financial stability for individuals and families across the Pocono region of Pennsylvania. Since assuming the role in 2019, Michael has focused on strengthening cross‑sector collaboration among nonprofits, healthcare systems, government entities, and business leaders to deliver measurable, community‑wide impact. Under his leadership, Pocono Mountains United Way has expanded critical initiatives addressing housing instability, food insecurity, and access to essential services, including the growth of regional housing stability programs and the PoconoInfo helpline, which connects residents quickly to vital resources during times of need. Michael is widely recognized for his leadership during times of crisis, particularly during the COVID‑19 pandemic, when United Way played a central role in humanitarian response efforts across the region. In 2022, Michael was invited to the White House as part of a select group of community leaders to discuss the local impact of federal funding and pandemic recovery, representing the voice and priorities of the Pocono Mountains community on a national stage. [poconorecord.com]

A respected advocate for equity, community resilience, and inclusive economic growth, Michael has received numerous honors, including the Community Hero Award from the Pocono Chamber of Commerce and recognition from the NAACP Monroe County Chapter for leadership in racial equity and cultural competency. He holds a Master’s degree in Education from Lehigh University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The Pennsylvania State University, and he remains deeply committed to building a stronger, more connected Pocono region
